AJ is a lawn expert. Mr. Lawn costs around what I was spending at Homedepot and lowes to buy my own misery. We started together late season of 2022. The yard was barely ok after 4 years of me trying. We had 1 acre of competing grasses beaten down by a variety of weeds. AJ treated the competing issue, aerated the lawn, overseeded and fertilized (all over 3 well timed visits). At first the centipede browned out and the family laughed at me. But then AJ (and my decision to choose him) greened up spectacularly!! I was right to give up and higher this expert. For the first time in our 5 years here our lawn looks amazing! Thank you AJ and MR. LAWN! ~ Tim P

I probably had the worst lawn on our street before I contacted AJ (Mr Lawn). But a few weeks after treatments began, the lawn has become much thicker and greener. A few of my neighbors even signed up after noticing the dramatic difference. I chose AJ because he's local and is truly passionate about his job and lawn care. On top of the excellent treatments, he takes the time to educate you on how to get the best out of your lawn. AJ came out and walked the entire yard with me pointing out good stuff I had done and also items he would address. After about a week the yard started looking better. On the second treatment I drove up and saw AJ examining the yard on his knee. His attention to detail was above any yard service I ever had before and I have went through a couple of the big names. AJ again pointed out items in my yard and how he would address them. Again a week later my yard is looking even better. Only had two treatments but 5 stars so far. AJ is a great guy with an incredible knowledge about lawn care. His focus is weed control, fertilization, aeration and overseed, etc....he doesn't mow. I'm glad he doesn't mow as he's laser focused on making your lawn look great and he knows his stuff. He has the personal touch and has answered my numerous questions and is passionate about making your lawn look great. He is not just a "lawn care guy", he's an enthusiast and you can tell he loves what he does. ~ Aa C

Mr Lawn was hired to restore our lawn, killed by our previous service. He has been successful. His earth friendly quality products, personalized attention to the needs of our yard, knowledge (he will discuss the specific weeds and needs with his clients), communication and equipment are a few of the reasons we use this company. AJ is wonderful. We are so happy that we chose him to do our yard. We now have carpet grass instead of weeds and dirt. After trying to create a carpet of grass for 14 years and failing, We hired AJ (Mr. Lawn). He tested the soil and worked his magic. We now have the carpet of grass we wanted. Man oh man do I wish we had found AJ sooner. We are in a new build on red clay and our builder added no top soil, just put down seed and straw. We have spent soooo much time and sooo much money trying to get grass to grow and we just couldn’t. We honestly thought we’d never have a nice yard, it was just clover and weeds. We finally decided it was time to bring in a professional. AJ/Mr. Lawn was recommended in our local FB group so we reached out. He came out and looked at the lawn and gave us the breakdown on what he would do to give us a nice lawn. He said it would get worse before it got better but honestly it ONLY got better. We truly cannot believe how fast he was able to give us this lawn. My husband and I literally look at each other and say “wanna go look at the grass” lol. We’ve also had numerous neighbors stop us to tell us how good the grass looks. One of the houses across the street just added new sod, and ours looks just as good. So so happy we found Mr. Lawn!! We have used many different lawn treatment companies throughout our almost 15 years in the area. Last fall, we had grown leery of our old service. They were inconsistent in both communicating expectations and they did not make much headway in the level of improvement we were seeing in our lawn as a result of the money were spending for it. We were recommended to check out AJ at Mr. Lawn on our neighborhood FB page and he has knocked it out of the park. It was something during your initial contact to hear all the knowledge he has about his scientific approaches to treating the lawn and how clearly he knows the soil in the area. We had two trouble spots that had not cleared up over the prior two years. He just showed up after having treated our since last fall. We were impressed to see the level of improvement but in talking with him today, HE was surprised it turned out as well as it did considering two really dry months this past summer. We really can't recommend them any higher. Consistent and timely communication. Easy billing process. Great results! Give them a try! ~ Jeff S

One of the most knowledgeable lawn services out there. They personalize the treatment as opposed to some of the other larger companies that just drive around with a big spray truck. They notify you when they're coming and my lawn is never looked better. Highly recommend Mr lawn! He's done a great job for mine and I referred him to several other local friends as well. Our lawn has improves with every visit. This spring it is just beautiful! AJ is very knowledgeable in his field and provides good information to maintain a beautiful healthy lawn. Update 5/2024: our lawn is looking amazing. AJ continues to amaze us with his service and knowledge of lawn care. Mr. Lawn care in Columbia he’s been with us about five months and the lawn has never looked so great. I want to thank Him and his lawn care abilities trust me, I used to do my large lawn for almost 20 years back then and this yard was kind of ran down and mr. AJ started treating my lawn a few months ago. He is very professional. I appreciate that he contacts me before he treats the lawn, I've had other large lawn companies who have not been punctual and gave no notice, and I still had weeds.
